This track is very personal for me, a cathartic piece based on a poem or verse I penned some ten years ago. The poem is about my life experience with my dad. I have quite a few psychological wounds and scars from him and I never had the opportunity with any closure on these wounds or scars. He passed away back in August of 2021 from alcohol induced dementia borderline Alzheimer's. The night before he died I visited with him and played a few of my Native American style flutes as a way of making peace with him and to help send his soul/spirit off to the realm beyond the veil.
About a month ago I had the idea/inspiration to put the poem to music. This track is the first time I've used words/lyrics in my music.
