A Gypsy song from the former Yugoslavia sung in Romany, the language of the Gypsies. Roughly translated, it means, “Get up, Get up, Papa! It’s my wedding day and you are still in bed!” Recorded live with musicians Jutta Distler – guitar and vocals; Terran Doehrer – kaval, percussion, and vocals; Zoï Doehrer – drum set; Steven Hart – tuba; and Peter Bartels – cornet.
