ABOUT
José Javier Prieto Alfonso (Javy Prieto) was born in San Carlos-EDO Cojedes, Venezuela, on July 5, 1989. From an early age, this talented young man had a strong interest in urban music (reggaeton/hip hop), but it was not until the beginning of 2008 that he decided to develop his singing career. His first steps were in the group Comando 7, managing to captivate the public of the population of San Carlos (Venezuela), with songs like "Bachateando en la disco," "Chica de mis sueños," and "Merengueton." After 6 months in the group, Javy Prieto took his own course and decided to produce a solo album which he would call "Independencia." From this work, his first songs came out, such as "Tantra," "Besos al azar," "Entra en escena," "Independencia," "Ella se va activando," among others. All of his own authorship, and under the artistic name of Blackjay by then. Javy has a very particular and striking style when it comes to singing and composing, the different fusions of rhythms that he uses in his songs, and the versatility he has to enter different genres (R&B, reggaeton, hip hop) make him a great candidate to become the new representative face of the Latin urban genre of Venezuela in the world.

Javy Prieto has shared the platform with great exponents of Latin music, among them are Oscarcito, Las Chicas del Can, Omar Enrique, Maelo Ruiz, Victor Drija, King Chango, among others.

At the beginning of 2017, he released his single entitled "Amor de Novela" under the production of Super Yei, a musical producer of hits like "Voy a beber" by Nicky Jam, "No se quiere enamorar" with Ozuna ft Daddy Yankee, and other hits.
