Marching home..

We are soldiers of fortune in the army of the man. But what is left of our home, and those we have left behind? We close our weary eyes and imagine the world as we left it. The ethereal heavens fade into our mindscape, as our brief interlude of peace drifts back to the distant drums of war.

Is this but a dream from which we cannot awaken?

The ghostly ether draws us back into a trance; we are marching in formation, afraid to step out of line. Up in the distance.. strained voices call out.
Are we back home, or in some altered dimension? Is this a dream or an illusion?

Only you can decide.

Pandemic induced amnesia, is it - a fait accompli - iatrogenesis.. or is it a dream from which we cannot awaken?
