On the previous album by Electrocutango; Adrenalina, we experimented with the Über-funky instrument clavinet, best known from artists like George Duke and Stevie Wonder. For me (Sverre) the sound is so connected with funk that its a bit like a parallel to the bandoneons role in tango. And what both styles - tango and funk - have in common is being dance-music, right? Combining the two isn’t the most obvious choice, but since the result is somewhere in the middle between the two styles it kind of makes sense (I hope). The title means turned on. Or on fire. Or both?
