The band brought together two remarkable musicians – the unique domra player, composer Victor Solomin, and a very young singer Anastasia Druziuk. Victor and Anastasia live with one idea of the band which creates its unusual style by combining authentic folk songs, jazz and rock. “DomRa” took part in many international and Ukrainian festivals.
While creating modern arrangements, Victor Solomin carefully treated the archaic material and managed to keep the traditional Ukrainian melos and add fresh energetic beats and rich stirring harmonies.

For reference:
Domra is an ancient Slavonic stringed instrument, first mentioned in literatureback in the 15th century.
Dom Ra can be interpreted as the House of the Sun, because the god Ra was present in ancient Slavonic and Egyptian mythologies.
Victor Solomin is the only musician playing jazz on the domra.
