About "Samboo"
Samboo sets a newspaper report of the death and burial of a slave at Sunderland Point near Lancaster in 1822. The music uses mandinka guitar, Gaelic pibroch piping, Tuvan overtoning, an extended instrumental melody played by cello, bass clarinet and pipes.
