Composed by the nun, philosopher and composer Hildegard von Bingen one thousand years ago. This recording was made using the Cambodian Tro Sau as a drone or symphony to the voice. Many of Hildegard's songs were called "Songs of (sacred) ecstasy" and are very powerful and unique.

Recorded at the Kampot Traditional Music School in the main hall in February 2015 they reflect the unison of Western and Eastern influences and diversity of culture found amongst musicians at our school in Cambodia.
