About "Rosoku"
This is an original solo piece I composed for shakuhachi in the spirit of the honkyoku repertoire of Zen buddhist monks. The title means wandering breath, in reference to the idea that through breathing and sound of the shakuhachi one can get to enlightenment, as these monks had it.
