ABOUT
Folk chanteuse Brona McVittie is the lead singer and harpist for The London Lasses and a member of the neo-impressionist outfit Littlebow. Her debut solo LP, We Are the Wildlife—a collection of fable pop and traditional balladry steeped in the majesty of her native County Down—is out 18.01.18.
Brona sings in the Celtic languages: Irish Gaelic, Scots Gaelic, Manx, Breton (Vannetais dialect), Cornish, and Welsh (see her 2011 project Sé: Songs from the Six Celtic Nations), but also in French and Spanish. She plays traditional folk harp and is deeply inspired by the music of her native Ireland.
