About "Trama La Tela."
The sound is between the fingers and is made of spindles intertwined with tombolo pins. A dense but light spiderweb, made with thin steel and nylon guitar strings. Strings plucked to weave the threads of memory, thus weaving a new story. It is not the story of Ariadne's son, but rather of Penelope and certainly of thousands of Southern women, forced to live, for decades, far from their loved ones, who emigrated for work and dignity. On the bobbin the threads pass behind the pins, with the same simplicity with which the long hair is worn slowly behind the ears by the embroiderers. Sensual movements that capture the attention of suitors and that "tempt the thread" without anyone getting the hang of it.
