Gunung Agung is the mightiest active volcano in Bali not so far from our home, which worked havoc after its latest eruption in the 1960s.
Few years ago, it started spitting smoke and cinder and everybody feared it would erupt again.
So my wife Analia wrote this song as an invocation, or even an exorcism, addressing directly the frightening volcano not to woke up again.
And for whatever reason, we were lucky that it didn't.
