As soon as my wife Analia learned of the tragic death of Angeline, a sweet 9 years old girl, brutally murdered few years ago in Sedap Malam (Tuberose) street in Bali by her Indonesian adoptive mother to despoil her of the inheritance allotted to her by her adoptive foreign father, she wrote this very moving song as a lullaby to accompany her innocent soul in her last journey.
I admit that while working on the song, the sadness of the lyrics and the emotion in Analia's voice really made my cry and urged me to render the song with a full, dramatic, cinematic orchestration.
