We learnt Salmon Weir Bridge and Stoney Brennan from our dear friend Jason Pfeiffer. Salmon Weir Bridge is a famous 5 span humped bridge in Galway City. The unfortunate Mr.Brennan was a peat farmer hanged for stealing a turnip. Jason had the habit of digging up little known tunes on his flute and was a mean improviser. Vincent Broderick was a Galway flute player with a great many compositions. Our friend Julie moved away from the mayhem of civilization onto a small island, where she learnt the art of bee-keeping.
