Sika (her full name is Afi Sika Kuzeawu) is a Togolese songwriter, vocalist, and double bassist.
Her first album, “Nubu,” consists of original compositions that clearly reflect her musical influences from her home country, Togo, through its rhythmical richness, carrying her through continuously changing spheres and universes. This results in bass lines that actually originate from an internal dance, from a body impulse, that make worlds from afar draw close.
