ABOUT
Shanti People is a unique band that synthesizes the best of what Western and Eastern cultures both have to offer: they play with Vedic Mantras and smooth velvet electronic music.
With great interest in Eastern studies, they are a great source of inspiration, knowledge, and music trends. The band was established in 2008 and has only been developing since then.
Shanti People have already played at various European festivals: Ozora (HU), TRIMURTI (RU), GOGOLFEST (UA), VedaLife (UA), as well as solo concerts in Germany, Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, and others. Their songs are played on British "Amazing Radio" and Australian "Ancient Vedic Radio."
In 2013, they recorded their first LP "Krishna is Love," which was followed by massive concert tours in Europe, Ukraine, and Russia. After gaining inspiration and the best music practices in India, Shanti People are preparing their second album "Urban Mantras," which will be released in spring 2015. With the concept of it, the band wants to help fans levitate between the stressful life in big metropolises and the peace of mind that everybody wants to have.

Uma – vocalist, harmonium
Bo – sound engineer, VJ
