Safar Republique

Safar Republique, in which "Safar" translated from Arabic means "journey," is first of all the encounter between musicians with very different backgrounds. The violin, with its classical and Latin touch, is combined with a guitar with jazzy sounds, the Kamele N'goni with its traditional African melodies, and a percussionist of Moroccan origins. The music resulting from this amazing crossbreeding is harmonious, delicate, consistent, as well as subtle. It's also an elegant mixture of original compositions with traditional West African melodies. Each piece invites the listener to travel along the arrangements to unknown places and continents. Safar Republique stands at a crossroad; it's a gateway to a melancholic atmosphere and festive emotions obtained by highly interwoven harmonies and fascinating rhythms.
