Originally composed in 1977, the Bengali lyrics and melody were written by spiritual teacher and prolific composer Sri Chinmoy. This updated version features a standout violin performance by Ambi Subramaniam starting at 2:10. Ambi has been described as the "new king of Indian classical violin" by the Times of India. The words of the song are invocation to joy and to the victory of the soul. Other instruments include various effected guitars, basses, percussion and Wurlitzer electric piano.
