This overture was inspired by adventure and researcher Thor Heyerdahl’s intrepid raft trip from South America to Polynesia in the 1970s. The work guides the listener through the wide soundscape of the Orcheseter der Kulturen. Vocals are by Kandara Diebate, with additional solos Lucy Zhao and Eberhard Hahn.
