The band "Nostos" consists of three musicians (and composers with personal discography and extensive experience in music) and a great new singer: Vangelis Kontopoulos (acoustic bass), Yiannis Yakoumakis (guitar), Dimitris Panagoulias (percussions), and Matina Mastora (the sweet and tender voice of the group). The band aspires to transport the audience not only with works written by the musicians themselves but also with adaptations of known Greek songs, creating an original soundscape that combines classical and modern music. Using classical and electric instruments, they are trying to push their musical boundaries, balancing between soloist performances and the capacity to feel each other's music. In their program of appearances, besides the pieces written by the musicians themselves, well-known songs from the world of folk and traditional music are integrated in a very special way, using exciting techniques and sounds from rock and jazz music, with modern music converted to images.
