Meadow Quartet came into being in 2009 in Gdańsk. The band tries to create a space that can be diffused by influences of modern chamber music, jazz, improvised music, film music, and the most fundamental medium – traditional Jewish music. Meadow Quartet, at last, is an exciting challenge: following a path that defies simple stylistic classification.

Finally, Meadow Quartet denotes four outstanding musicians – four instrumentalists, each inspired by one of the above types of music, but altogether Meadow Quartet is four, synergizing in musical performance, personalities.
