The Kërkim was born in Puglia, turned to the lands of the Mediterranean. From Albania, it takes its name, meaning search and observation, a constant motion made possible by dialogue, the essence of world music. It takes its inspiration from the street, listening to sounds, smelling, and observing its steps. Kërkim meets, listens, preserves, and reinterprets the frequencies of those lands; from the Balkans to North Africa, crossing Turkey and Syria, and ultimately weaving its own sound that has no borders...
