About "Scilla & Cariddi"
"Scilla and Cariddi" is named after the Straits between Reggio and Messina. The two places at the mouth of the Strait of Messina were famous in ancient times for the difficulties that the sailors had to overcome when they came in that part of the sea. Scilla and Cariddi were two goddesses causing the whirlpools and the rough sea that killed the sailors in the ancient times.
