The name says it all. Gipsydelica is a Balkan psychedelic ethno rock infusion, combining original songs with long-forgotten gems, mined from the treasure trove of Balkan folk. A real power trio of players whose roots run deep and whose vision runs wild.
The band is led by the boundlessly exuberant Miroslav Morski, a hero in his homeland of Bulgaria where he fronts Django Ze. He is also closely associated with the multinational collective The Turbans as one of their frontline members. His broad influences and understanding of multiple musical traditions make for a unique songwriter with an abundant imagination.
On bass is Freddie Stitz, a ridiculously talented musician, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who has toured the world with bands like Razorlight, Smoky Angle Shades and has worked in the studio shoulder to shoulder with mega producers like Trevor Horn.
On drums is Tansay Omar, a real master musician in his own right both on stage and in the studio, with a huge mileage of experience touring the world with big artists like Björk, Boy George, Stereo MC's, and Lokki Terra, to name a few.
