Ethnically and Culturally Inspired Music
My new album NOMAD which started last April 2019 on tour in Barcelona is being presented here with a song
" As fragile as" written then and the seed for the concept.
Its not the final edit, but rather a step into the unknown.
Of the 17 or so songs I have written I have chosen 14 to present this body of work.
Like its title, the whole process hase been one of not knowing what was going to happen. So when de COVID-19 hit Spain 2 weeks ago where I live (for 21 years now) in order to not loose sense and energy I decided to take the risk and put this song out
(and to share the album with close friends and musicians)
I hope to be able to collaborate on this album, but need time to see how international issues pan out before making larger steps.
Being South African and having lived through the Apartheid system and having come out the other end,I have faith that although right now is an almost violent shift in consciuosness for many people, that music and art is needed right now to help bridge and heal fear based questions.
I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank all those who have supported my other 2 songs ( "Ice Knight" and "No way to") in the 40 charts. I absolutely did not expect this feedback over the last 3 months that they've been in the charts.
The support encouraged me enormously to push through obstacles with the new work.
I send light, love and health to all you wonderful artists and especially to the Ethnocloud team for existing.
