About "Yara"
There’s a girl called Yara. You might have met her once — or maybe that young person was you. She doesn’t speak much, but when she does, it’s through an old plastic recorder and a slide whistle she found at the back of a drawer. She’s always humming something maybe in a language you don’t know.
That’s the feeling we’ve tried to capture in Yara, the new track by Fusionarium — a downtempo, trip-hop-leaning piece built around broken memories, adolescent unease, and unlikely instruments. There’s no glossy production, just acoustic guitar, distant rhythms and a haunting little hook borrowed from an Indian cradle song. The result is something fragile and strange, like a forgotten mixtape you used to love.
