In this third album, Diyarisan has pushed forward the integration of modal melodies, the composition method of the composers Alexander Scriabin and Nikolai Roslavets, as well as other stylistic elements from jazz and pop music. This album deals with flamenco music, which, however, is much freer under the influence of the aforementioned influences than the strictness of traditional flamenco music. Many pieces are based on the Andalusian cadence, but also the harmony of the 12-tone space. So you can hear Alexander Scriabin's Prelude op.74 Nr.4 as a Flamenco song. On the other hand, flamenco has always been open to influences, which is why there are so many different styles. Since the Spanish musicians Shica Boom, Rosario la Tremendita, Las Migas and others have pushed forward the popularization and modernization of flamenco, a lot of revolutionary things have happened in recent years. Diyarisan is now bringing in further influences from outside. This is already evident in the languages ​​of the lyrics: Swedish, Norwegian, Albanian, Kurdish, Portuguese, French and English can be heard, as well as the Spanish languages ​​Galician and Castellano. Most of the songs deal with travel, which brings foreign influences together. Some song are based on subtle lyrics by Elke Lasker-Schüler and Antonio Macado. Diyarisan's own lyrics are no less impressive, as the Swedish Spökresenär (Ghost Traveler) or the Portuguese Gaivota (Seagull) demonstrate. Travel is a special manifestation of freedom and that is why freedom is the main title of the album, freedom in music, freedom of place, freedom from tradition while preserving it by mixing it with new influences.
