About "Secretly In The Night"
Diyarisan's music follows the compositional concept of Russian composer Nikolaj Andreevic Roslavec (1880-1944). A six-note "synthetic chord" and its transposition form the tonal space for melodic and harmonic development, with additions to the 12-note scale forming breaks and musical interjections. The music deliberately plays with echoes of jazz, Middle Eastern folk music, and rock music. The lyrics come from Elise Lasker Schüler, the German-Jewish poet. The combination with Diyarisan's composition, produced by Buelyd, makes the song to an occult experience.
