ABOUT
Prolific singer-songwriter and guitarist Duran was born in Japan and raised in the Philippines.
He was born to a Spanish Filipino father and a Japanese mother.
At the age of 3, he started playing the piano, and at the age of 14, influenced by his bassist father, he began playing guitar.
While active in numerous bands such as Rootless, Made in Asia, and A Flood of Circle, he also participated as a guitarist in Koshi Inaba (B'z), Kiyoharu, and Suga Shikao.
In 2018, Duran released his debut solo album (FACE) and started full-scale solo activities.
Kaleido Garden, released on 3rd November 2021, is Duran's second solo album and was created from a single live recording. Complementing the release was a 42-date nationwide tour finishing with great applause in Shibuya, Spotify O-East.
Known as one of Japan's great guitarists, Duran is attracting attention both in Japan and overseas for his transcendent guitar playing and soulful singing voice.
