Listening to Kate Bush Running Up That Hill and her huge Chart Success again so many years later only inspires you to keep progressing what you do. The last couple of years have been tough. Family is everything. The trials of looking after a loved one through a debilitating illness overshadows everything else. Strangely the tough times inspire the creation of new lyrics which eventually become great songs. I have always been the eternal optimist and following The Wedding of my beloved Eldest Daughter in Ibiza and a find my self again break in my beloved Wicklow Hills I am going once more back to the art that never leaves me and always draws me back.
I hope everyone enjoys the new music I am releasing now and next month. Life needs more smiling faces.

All in all it is good to hear great appraisals of your work.

To get it out there for the masses to hear though, takes a lot of hard work dedication and financial investment.

I have new music mastered and ready for release, with great appeal. Finding the right time and media to introduce it to a wider audience of listeners however, is the key. Making music and breaking it into the marketplace is hard to do.
I'll keep on trying, encouraged by all the positive feedback!

Busy life with sincere obligations, with music taking a back burner for a while. Socialising and the entertainment in life that keep us human are hard to come by. Lockdown is the norm. Creativity is now inspired from memory rather than the inspiration of living heady moments in real time. It's hard to write when your heart isn't in it and every day is "groundhog day".
My new release "Oh So Mellow (What A Good Day)" was written pre lockdown. Little did I know that the words would take on new meaning with words of optimism as the pandemic ensued.
To all of the creatives out there who are struggling through these restricted times. Hang on in there. I wish you success and achievement as the world eventually returns to normal as it inevitably will. When the creative flow is not earthbound by the limits placed on it by society and health considerations and we all get the chance to experience joy once more.
