Music Description:
We will be presenting a soothing performance of Jhaptaal gat in the divine morning Raag Bhairavi. This performance beautifully showcases the serenity, and depth of the Maihar Seniya Beenkar Gharana, which was founded by the legendary Acharya Baba Allauddin Khan of North Indian Classical music. Raag Bhairavi is an old traditional Raag that is considered the Mother and carries the mood of divinity, peace, and joy.

I also want to invite you to witness my live performance on October 2nd in the Siberian city of Tarko-Sale, located in the Yamale region. I will be accompanied by the wonderful Ashoke Mukherjee on Tabla, with whom I have been sharing the stage for over 28 years. This exceptional event is a collaboration between the Moscow P. I Tchaikovsky State Music Conservatory and the regional Government of Yamale. I am honored to be the first Indian Classical musician to perform in the northern part of Siberia. You don't want to miss it.
