"Коледа - Раждането на Слънцето", е една композиция, която разказва за езическите корени на този празник в нашата култура от предхристиянския период.
Коледа, в древността, се е явявала като предвестник на новата година, защото се е отбелязвало раждането на Слънцето за следващия годишен цикъл.
Текстовете са взети от втори том на епоса "Веда Словена" - за коледните празници, а част от текстовете в композицията са написани от мен.
Музиката е вдъхновена от звученето на българската фолклорна музика, както и на Западноевропейските полифонични форми.
Концертът се проведе на 9-ти ноември 2023, във Враца.

"Koleda - The Birth of the Sun", is a composition that tells us the story of the pagan roots of the Koleda fest (among the Germanic tribes it's known as Yule) in our Bulgarian pagan culture.
Koleda / Yule was the event that marked, in the ancient times, the star of the new year's cycle, when the Sun was born once again.
The lyrics for this composition of mine was taken from the Bulgarian heathen epic - "Veda Slovena" chapter 2 - about the Koleda fest, some other lyrics in the composition were written by me.
The music was inspired by the sound of the Bulgarian traditional music and Western European polyphonic styles.
The concert took place in Vratsa, Bulgaria, on 9th of November 2023
