Ariana Saraha is a singer, musician, and composer from the western United States who writes, records, and performs original and traditional world music with Celtic, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Indian influences. Ariana's music is frequently compared to that of Canadian Celtic singer Loreena McKennitt and the Australian new-wave band Dead Can Dance. Saraha’s first professional performance opportunity was singing lead vocals for the Boulder, Colorado-based Mediterranean and Middle Eastern band Sherefe from 1999-2002. In 2004, she joined the electronica ensemble Tribal Electra for another three years, and in 2007, launched her solo career by performing her original music at festivals and venues throughout the States. In August 2010, Saraha recorded her first album at a live concert in Boulder, Colorado, which was released the subsequent spring. She released her first studio album, "Maiden of Midnight," in 2015. Now she plays with Fernando Medina (drummer) in a band they have formed called Flight Behavior. They have just released their first full-length album, "From the Wild.
