About "FẸLASOPHY I Ft. Adeniji Heavywind, Duro Ikujenyo (Afro-Go Go Remix)"

Fẹlasophy I is our humble contribution to the essence of FELABRATION, which has become an annual global event thru October.
Fela’s voices are excerpts from an interview (courtesy Keziah Jones/Afrikan Anarchist Corp.) recorded at his Kalakuta residence in Lagos (now The Kalakuta Museum) on 11.6.96, representing one of the final great communicated messages from Abami Eda.
The Remix aims to blend the two historically related genres of Afrobeat, and the Washington D.C Go-Go groove, plus some rootsy saxophone work by the Florida based Adeniji Heavywind, while the original 2007 demo is given a Re-visit by the good DR. DUB LiTTLE.
Keyboards are by ex-Afrika 70/Egypt 80 rhythm pianist, and leader of Age Of Aquarius, Durotimi Ikujenyo.
