Nelle sonorità di Pietre si possono trovare echi della musica di differenti paesi dell’area Mediterranea, ma inserite gradualmente in un’atmosfera folk-rock che culmina nella citazione di alcune battute della canzone di Jimi Hendrix “Third Stone from the Sun”. Durante gli anni ’60 molti gruppi rock sono stati influenzati dalle tradizioni musicali ‘non-occidentali’ (soprattutto dalla musica indiana), e dunque per noi Migala, un piccolo omaggio al genio di Jimi Hendrix è una cosa perfettamente naturale.
In this track you can find echoes of the music of different Mediterranean countries. Gradually the track culminates in the folk-rock final with the citation of a few bars of the song by Jimi Hendrix’s “Third Stone from the Sun”. During the 60s and 70s, many rock bands were influenced by non western musical traditions (mainly from the Indian music), and therefore for us Migala , a small tribute to the genius of Jimi Hendrix is a perfectly natural thing.
