ABOUT
Maziar Sarmeh, born December 20, 1986, is an Iranian pop rock, synth pop, and alternative singer, composer, and producer. He went to Mirak Fine Arts School in 2004 and graduated in graphic design. Maziar began his musical career working as a producer and made some remixes for Reza Yazdani ("Chera Yadam Nemiad"), Tarkan ("Gulumse Kaderine"), Kamran Atta ("Akharin Didar"), Bahador Kharazmi ("Khooneye Madar Bozorge"), Yaser Panahi ("Delbar"), and many others. Since 2014, he has been working as a freelance mix engineer in studios around the country. He has worked on many projects in rock, pop, hip hop, and electronic recordings. In 2013, he joined Ali Mozaffari’s theater and performance group and composed music for performances. The group performed "It's Not the Sound That Only Remains" in the 5th festival of 30 Performances, 30 Artists, 30 Days at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
