Vital Voranau – Bagpiper, also a writer and a scholar, from Hlybokaye, in the north of Belarus. Vital learned to play from Juraś Pankievič, a famous bagpiper and bagpipe maker. Vital plays one-drone and three-drone pipes, which are the most common Belarusian bagpipe types. He wrote a book "Dudarskaja Hlyboččyna" about the bagpiping tradition of his region and organized the first festival of bagpipe regions of Europe in Belarus (Hlybokaye) - "Dudarski Rej".
