ABOUT
The Source is an Italian acoustic trio led by guitarist Daniele Defranchis.
Our music is a blend of ethnic influences coming from everywhere in space and time, from Ancient Music to World music, mostly Mediterranean, Asian, Middle Eastern.
Based on the imitative possibilities of the guitar, the natural expression of the voice, and the deep power of the percussion instruments, we create a unique sound blending together music coming from the roots of all cultures we meet.
