About "Yanya "
This song is dedicated to the amazonian tribe Noke Koy (as sung in the vocal intro); it presents a blend of calypso, dub and electronic, with some details from Peru. The lyrics, mainly in english but with a part in portuguese and amazonian Noke Wana, talk about a deep meditative experience in wich the elements of the body melt and the consciousness rises in expansion: this experience is very known among shamanism of the whole world and very much in amazonian shamanism with use of sacred plants, to wich the video is dedicated.
In the video a city woman finds herself by chance in a strange cinema, where at the entrance she is given a ticket with a "magic leaf" behind it.
An indistinguishable mix of dancing spirits, psychedelic colors and images of the jungle begin to crowd her mind...
The wisdom of the sacred plants will take the woman with her, on a journey of deep transformation.
