This song can be described as a modern jazz song mixing major influences from North African and Indian world music. It features Tunisian artist Ayman Boujlida singing in South Indian Konnakol style. The song's rhythm feel and soundscape is also influenced by Boujlida but he is born and raised on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis, Tunisia - formerly known as Carthage. Therefore I found the title "Karthago" to be fitting.
