Sadaf Amini was born in 1990 in Tehran, Iran. At the age of 12, she began playing Santur and entered Tehran Music School. In 2012, she got her bachelor degree from Tehran University in Iranian Music Performance. Then, she moved to Canada and got her Master’s degree in Music Technology and Media from the University of Toronto in 2018.
