From Ron Korb's Grammy nominated Asia Beauty album. In the 1930s, cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Hanoi were meeting points between East and West. Much of Asia was colonized, with Vietnam being under French rule. This an original piece imagines what it would like to mix Asian instruments with European Salon music.
