About "Havar Havar"
Havar Havar is a fusion of several distinct melodies from southern Iran, each carrying its own story and identity. One of the melodies is Siah-Zangi, a song originally composed years ago by the late Ebrahim Shahdousty, a lyricist and singer from Bandar Abbas. This song is based on a true story — the story of a young man who, after enduring oppression and mistreatment at his employer’s home, decides to escape. Siah-Zangi offers a painful yet thought-provoking narrative about the lives and suffering of those whose voices are rarely heard. Another melody featured in this track is Mammad Eidali, which is deeply rooted in the musical culture of southern Iran. With its unique rhythms and atmosphere, it creates a vivid and emotional landscape. In this piece, we have aimed to preserve the authenticity of these melodies while presenting them within a new musical composition. For us, this is not just an artistic experience, but also a heartfelt tribute to the culture and music of the people of southern Iran.
