A Platform for Ethnically and Culturally Inspired Music
ABOUT
OverBoys" Over Border Organization of the Youth from Sale is a non-profit association with a social and cultural vocation. Founded in 2010, it is engaged in the development of production and promotion of cultural and artistic talents. It also offers activities that include art as a tool and its state of mind in order to develop hidden talents and the social environment within.
Consisting of professionals from socio-cultural fields as well as artists from different disciplines, who work in participatory leadership with an open spirit that establishes a link with the youth in furtherance of sharing and listening to each other, the association primarily uses percussion, capoeira, batucada, music, theatre, and body expressions as an educational way for channeling the energy of youth and adolescents. Additionally, it specializes in the organization of events, festivals, meetings, and workshops for artistic, cultural, and sustainable development.
Besides focusing on the development of artistic and cultural promotion, OverBoys Organization offers a large platform. This platform enables the ability of learning, teaching, research, and innovation using the most valuable values of citizenship, creativity, social commitment, gender equality, respect, and mainly excellence. All of these efforts are made to create a better image of the Moroccan cultural wealth and heritage.
