Dedicated to my late mother, Neroo Raj, and the beautiful memories of listening to this song together with her. I found the melody and meaning to be so simple, yet very powerful in conveying the basic human emotion of love in a very gentle way. My mother reflected the same gentleness in her capacity to love all living things.
