I combine instruments, rhythms, and playing styles from a wide variety of cultures into unique hybrids. I like the idea that music from one culture can speak so beautifully with the music from another culture. I also like to collaborate with a lot of other musicians from around the world, often using improvisation to create a spontaneous musical conversation.
