Mariel Martinez Tango

Born in Buenos Aires and settled in Madrid since 2002, Mariel Martínez is a young tango singer who has become a figure of European renown. Her musical career, which is in constant expansion, receives excellent reviews from the media, getting also wide acceptance from the public. She has worked on five own CDs, recorded and produced in Buenos Aires by the prestigious Litto Nebbia. All her records were edited in Argentina, France, and Spain by the famous label Melopea. Her CD "Esos otros Tangos" ("Those other Tangos") was nominated for Best Album of a Women Artist of Tango at the Premios Gardel 2014. Her last show, "Buenos Aires… cuando lejos me vi" ("Buenos Aires… when I saw myself far away") was performed with great success at the Gran Vía, Madrid. She has been on stages in Spain, Argentina, France, Italy, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Portugal.
