What if, right now, wherever you are, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, or any other of those murderous despots that history continues to regurgitate, walks in? You are face-to-face with him. Where do you stand? Do you crumble before the fear with which they build their trail of violence? Or would you challenge him, questioning the unbearable consequences of his actions? That is the question that we must ask, snuggled up in our democracies: How far are we capable of going to defend our way of life? Only then can we give it true value.

This is the premise of “Doktor Doom”, the new single by Kiko & the Blues Refugees, a fortuitous meeting with one of these historical (or current...) figures in the form of a dynamic blues challenge, all in good humor and also willing to give a piece of our mind. “So come on man, just do what’s right” And you?
