A Platform for Ethnically and Culturally Inspired Music
About "Ahntika "
This track began with my testing the sound of my elk skin frame drum. It produced a nice deep resonating sound that beckoned me to play it and develop a song based on the rhythms that issued forth. As I played the image of my feet growing roots and reaching out to the subtle vibrations of my surroundings. Roots run deep and far to create an intermingling network of support and communication from species to species.

Ken played; fujara, drone flute, elk skin frame drum, doumbek, claves, cymbals, maraca, kalimba (thump piano), seed pod clacker
