About "12. Wapulungana"
Wapulungana (He is a messy)

When a child is blamed for who she/he is.
“Ameharibika” (He/she has turned bad/ become lost) This is the word you can hear from all elderly people’s mouths in my country. They can say it even if the child belongs to someone else. This is because, in Tanzanian culture, the children’s moral values, education and well being in society are the responsibility of the older generation. When you see a child doing something outside moral aesthetics, you tell them to stop straight away or give them advice. Sharing and caring goes together. This song is also reflecting on the fact that if there are a lot of children to take care of it might be difficult, so in this song it is suggesting family planning. Anyway, the parents have a very big influence on the behavior and moral values of their children. So who is to be blamed if something goes wrong, child or parents?
